Rosebud Running Festival

The Rosebud Running Festival returns to Mornington Peninsula on 13 June 2027 with a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and Kids' run. The courses cover sections along the foreshore trails (Bay Trail) with runners enjoying some stunning landscapes with Port Phillip Bay as the backdrop. The 5km and 10km courses are out and back routes from Rosebud to McCrae and back. Half Marathon competitors will continue past the start line at Rosebud and head towards Capel Sound with the turnaround just before the Rye Pier and finish at Rosebud. The Marathon distance is 2 laps of the Half Marathon course. The 1km Kids' run is for kids aged 10 and under. It is not timed and parents can run along side if they think they are too young.
