The ZACH MACH Adventure Challenge from 8 to 9 May 2027 is a Multisport Event for the weekend warrior to the elite in Mackay, Queensland.
Disciplines include MTB, kayak, trail run and a road cycle in the Pioneer Valley. Compete in all stages (Full Mach) or enter a specific stage only. Go solo, as a pair or create a relay team. The full Zach Mach Adventure Challenge is for ages 18+.
The Mini Mach on Sunday involves MTB, orienteering and a river crossing. Refer to the event website options and age restrictions.
The event celebrates the life of an outstanding young man, Zach Roberts. Zach was an adventure racer and a much loved student at Mackay Christian College who tragically passed away in an accident at the age of 18.
