DIVERGE Skyruns

DIVERGE Skyruns from 30 April to 2 May 2027 offers a festival of events from serious Skyruns to trail runs/hikes on the west coast of Tasmania. Based in Queenstown, the main events include the Mt Lyell Skyrun 50km and the Mt Owen Skyrun 25km. In true skyrunning fashion, these courses include exposed ridgeline and boulder scrambling. They are steep, gnarly and technical. Across the weekend are also 15km, 10km and 5km trail runs, plus the Lynchford Express Run 5km, where entrants board the iconic West Coast Wilderness Railway heritage steam train and then race it back. Family-friendly events include a free Rogaine event on Friday and a Kids' 1km run on Sunday.
