GC50 Run Festival

The fisiocrem GC50 Run Festival returns to Coolangatta from 10 to 11 October 2026 for a weekend festival of running and beach-side vibes. Saturday's flagship event, the 50km Ultra is an IAU Bronze Label event that stretches from Coolangatta to Palm Beach. Starting from Marine Parade, this two lap course sees runners pass by creeks and mangroves with ocean views throughout, utilising a mix of closed roads and the stunning Oceanway. Also on Saturday are the 5km and Kids' races. Sunday's events include a 10km and the Half Marathon, on a flat and fast course on closed roads. Spectators can enjoy live music throughout the weekend from the beer garden over-looking the finish line in Queen Elizabeth Park. Sport 3 Events
