Goldsborough Goldrush

The Goldsborough Goldrush on 12 September 2026 is a a trail race along the Goldfields Trail in Wooroonooran National Park, Queensland. There are 4 distances to choose from and all are on out and back courses. The 5km run route is along the flat grassy Mulgrave River Valley floor. The 10km run route continues on into the shady rainforest on a wide, undulating earthen track. The 18km run route continues still further and takes you to the scenic East Mulgrave Causeway turnaround point. The Goldrush Marathon is arguably one of the toughest trail marathons in North Queensland. All distances start at the Goldsborough Valley Day Use Area, only 45 minutes south of Cairns.
