Kangaroo Island Marathon

The Kangaroo Island Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, on 23 August 2026 was created to showcase one of Australia's best kept secrets. Locals call it "Ki". Kangaroo Island is located 14km off the coast of South Australia and is just 2-hours from the beautiful city of Adelaide. It is home to an abundance of native Australian wildlife, pristine beaches, soaring cliffs and breath-taking ocean sunsets. The 50km and Marathon course routes are located in the heart of Flinders Chase National Park. The routes carve their way through the heart of Flinders Chase National Park. Runners will experience undulating roads and trails, an exposed coastal section with views to the powerful Southern Ocean and a boardwalk leading to the iconic Remarkable Rocks. The 50km Ultra follows the Marathon course with a deviation at the end towards Admirals Arch, before returning to join the Marathon route to the finish line.
