Sri Chinmoy Princes Park Winter Running Festival

The Sri Chinmoy Princes Park Winter Running Festival in Melbourne, Victoria is on 9 August 2026 with Marathon, 30km, Half Marathon, 10km & 5km events. The course is an off-road 5km circuit around Princes Park with an add-on loop under Royal Parade down and back to the zoo. The surface is a mix of asphalt and hard packed gravel, making it easy on the legs. The park loop is flat and the zoo loop on the Capital City Trail under Royal Parade is undulating. The marathon completes 8 laps plus a 2.2km half-lap circuit at the start to make up the full 42.2km distance. The 5km, 10km, 20km and 30km races complete 1, 2 4 or 6 laps of the course respectively.
