Yeppoon Running Festival

The Yeppoon Running Festival is back from 25 to 26 July 2026 starting on the beautiful Yeppoon main beach foreshore. This is one of the fastest regional races in Queensland and the only Marathon in Central Queensland. As well as the Marathon and Half Marathon distances, there is also a 10km, 5km, 2km and a 1.6km Family fun run. No matter what fitness level, there’s an option for you. The courses are fast and flat, starting and finishing in the heart of Yeppoon. You will make your way along the beach until heading a little inland into peaceful green shrubland before reaching the turnaround point back into Yeppoon where the cheer squads and spectators will be waiting for you in the racing precinct.
